Is Seed Keep free?

Yes. All features in Seed Keep version 1 are free. Future versions will include additional premium features.

What devices does Seed Keep run on?

Seed Keep is an iPhone app, available on the App Store. Your collection syncs across your devices through iCloud.

How does seed packet scanning work?

Scan the front and back of a seed packet and Seed Keep automatically fills in the details it finds, such as the plant and variety names, the botanical name, packed date, and days to maturity. You can add your own photos and notes, and edit all details. All scanning is done locally on your device.

How does Seed Keep calculate my climate?

Once you set your garden location, Seed Keep downloads 15 years of local weather history to determine your growing seasons, your average first and last frost, the temperature milestones that influence your planting, and a summary of how your weather has shifted over time.

Where is my data stored?

Your data is stored on your device and synced through your personal iCloud account. Seed Keep does not collect any personally identifiable information, and Sunkroft has no access to your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details, including how your location is used.

Can I export my seed collection?

Yes. You can export your entire collection to a spreadsheet (CSV file) at any time.

Is Seed Keep available for Android?

Not currently. Seed Keep is available for iPhone on the App Store.
